Valmiera FC head coach Jurgis Kalns: ‘’Three points are the most important thing. We lost a player for the next game which is a big negative. This is the end of the season and we have a long bench, all players have to be ready. We wanted so that for our next game we have our mid-fielders – Daisuke Yokota, Ivan Zhelizko, and Masaki Murata, they haven’t played together for a while. We wanted all three to play, today we benched Murata but unfortunately, we lost Daisuke, we will have to figure out how to replace him. The most important thing is that we earned three points. Thank you to the players and the fans – both teams had great support. There was a fantastic atmosphere – as opposed to how it usually is with weather like this when it’s sunny but also chilly at the same time, people don’t often attend those games. There were fans and I want to thank them for their support. The game was full of emotions with many interesting decisions, which ultimately gave the game its color. I’m happy that we earned three points.
