A day prior to a historical event at Jana Dalina stadium – first ever UEFA Champions game, second leg against Olimpija Ljubljana, Valmiera FC head coach Jurgis Kalns shared his thoughts and comments with the media.
Valmiera FC head coach Jurgis Kalns: “Tomorrow there will be a good atmosphere, the whole stadium is sold out. A historic game in Valmiera, the first in Eurocups at this stadium, we immediately get to play in the Champions League. One of the biggest, if not the biggest event in this stadium. I don’t want to compare it with any other sports, but this is definitely the case in football. I hope that tomorrow we will be ready to please our fans, we want those emotions after the game when the tingles run over because we have entered the second round.”
