Valmiera FC head coach Jurgis Kalns: ”Talking of the game we looked better the whole time. We dominated. We pressed on one side during the first half and played left to use Camilo Mena’s speed. We generally played a much simpler football, playing less through the middle and that gave us results. The failures in previous rounds have been talked about a whole lot. We communicate a lot because it’s the most important thing. We support them and the players support us. There are unlucky moments when you don’t score goals but we have a young team. It’s not completely young, but still young. For such players, there are ups and downs as well as other issues. We love to work with these players, there’s a lot of effort put into the work. I hope that we opened the net and now will be able to use our opportunities fully.
