Kristers Penkevics joins Valmiera FC

Shortly prior to the upcoming Optibet futbola Virsliga season 19-year-old Kristers Penkevics has joined Valmiera FC.

The young midfielder is Tukums 2000 football academy alumni. During the 2020 season, he played 22 Virsliga games with his hometown Tukums 2000 team. He is a regular of Latvian national youth teams.
