Another three points as we beat Spartaks

Tamaz Pertia’s men continue to please the club’s supporters, gaining the fourth victory in the first five games of the Optibet futbola Virslīga season, this time in the home game FK Spartaks Jūrmala was beaten 2:0.

Both goals in this game were scored at the first half-time by both Valmiera’s attack leaders – Ibrahima Sow opened the score on the 21 st minute followed by Raimonds Krollis 33 rd minute goal.

For Sow and Krollis, these were the third and fourth goals this season, respectively.

Valmiera midfielder Luka Silagadze made his fifth assist this season, accurately passing to Krollis goal.

Valmiera’s predominance in this game had not put on doubt, despite that at the second half-time Pertia chose to focus on holding the result and sharing the minutes of the game with the nearest reserves of his team.

In Round 6 this Saturday in Riga, Valmiera FC will meet with FK Metta, who in the previous two rounds collected their first points in a sensational manner with Riga FC (1:1) and RFS (3:3).
