Alvis Jaunzems only participated in the first game against Gibraltar, coming on during the game’s compensation time.
Rihards Matrevics was on the bench in all three games but didn’t get a chance to play.
Ivan Zhelizko represented his Ukrainian U-21 national team in 2023 UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualification two victories – 1:0 over Serbia (played 26 mins after coming on in the second half) and 2:1 over Armenia (in the same scenario – 11 mins).
Maksims Tonisevs as the Latvian U-21 national team’s captain played from bell to bell in both games of the cycle – against Poland (0:2) and against Germany (1:3).
Niks Dusalijevs made a debut at the U-21 level, playing the first half-time against Poland. Skipped the match against Germany.
