While the team is preparing for the upcoming Optibet Virsliga season Valmiera FC has announced a new addition to their squad – the 24-year-old Tunisian mid-fielder Fraj Kairmani has joined the ranks of the team.
To this point, Fraj Kairmani played in Tunisia representing teams like ”CS Hammam-Lif” and ”ES Sahel”, both at U-21 and professional levels. In thirty-seven games Kairmani scored a goal and registered eight assists. The player himself has taken part in African Champions League and Confederation Cup matches.
Fraj Kairmani: ‘’I’m very happy to join this club, the champions of Latvia. This year I want to become a champion of Latvia, and win it with Valmiera, to make good results in the Champions League qualification. This is a very good team with professional players, I really like my new teammates. I like to play aggressive football, Valmiera always plays with pressing and without that, you can’t win matches. I’m very excited about the start of the new season and to play an official match with my new team’’
Welcome to the team, Fraj!
