Following an Optibet Virsliga eleventh-round victory against FK Jurmalas Spartaks (2:0) teams head coach Jurgis Kalns shared his thoughts with the media.
Valmiera FC head coach Jurgis Kalns: ‘’First of all – the most important thing is the three points. Already in the dressing room after the game, I said that we have learned a very good lesson today. The good thing is that we learned the lesson now. We got the three points with our teeth. A good game for Spartaks, the second half for us was a catastrophe. In my opinion, this was by far the weakest game for us this season. We expected it to go this way after the emotional matches we went through recently. We knew that there would be a small step backward and now without losing points we learned a lesson. We are happy with three points and we can now prepare for the next matches after graduating the school.’’
