On the eve of the new season, Valmiera FC announced three new additions to the squad. Juan Penaloza, Ruan Ribeiro, and Jeremie Porsan-Clemente are the latest arrivals.
Juan Penaloza is a 22-year-old attacking mid-fielder from Columbia. He has represented the highest league club Deportivo Pereira while on loan from La Liga 2 team SD Huesca. Penaloza has represented his country at the U-17 World Cup.
Ruan Ribeiro is a 19-year-old forward from Brazil. He has joined the team on loan from ‘’SE Palmeiras’’ until the end of the year. Ruan arrived in Valmiera right after his team celebrated a victory in Brazil’s biggest U-20 tournament, Copinha.
Jeremie Porsan-Clemente is a 25-year-old forward from France. Previously has represented AS Saint-Étienne, Montpellier, and Marseille organizations. During his professional career, he played in four Ligue 1 matches, as well as dressed for a game at U-20 for Team France.
