Sergejs Digulovs has joined the Valmiera FC coaching staff. The 46-year-old specialist will be responsible for our goaltending.
Sergejs Digulovs was born on November 7th, 1975. In his professional career, he has played for the Valmiera team joining it in 1997. During his career, he has played for many known teams in Latvia – Daugavpils Dinaburga, Daugavpils Daugava as well as the legendary FK Ventspils. He retired from the sport in 2005.
As a coach, he started working for FK Ventspils in 2006, where he spent 11 years. In 2018. he joined the FK Jelgava team and afterward worked in FS Jelgava Academy as well as the Latvian U-17 national team.
