We have reached an agreement with one of our previous season’s team leaders – Ukrainian midfielder Ivan Zhelizko.

I will be ready to help the team to win the Latvian Championship and to make sure that we have quality Eurocup games as well. It is very important that the core of the team has remained intact, we understand each other without a hitch. Such qualities will allow us to fight for victories in future games.”
Ivan is a Karpaty Lviv football club, alumni. Last season he joined our team via a loan from the Czech Highest League club ‘’MFK Karvina’’. At his young age (soon to be 21) he played 29 games for Valmiera FC last season managing to score two goals. The player has also received consistent call-ups to the Ukrainian U-21 team.
